Just got the SPL Auditor and I'm having trouble configuring it

Hey guys, So I'm connecting the Auditor amp to a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24DSP from the Auditor XLR IN to the Focusrite spdif RCA out... now I've been trying to configure it through the Saffire Mixcontrol but I cna't get it to work, I tried everything(or not).

 

Do you guys know how to get this to work?  It's all working but there's no sound at all..

Ok, I'm such a dumbass I need an RCA to 1/4 inch mono adapter..

The cable I currently have is a XLR to RCA by Straightwire, would I sacrifice SQ with an adapter? s
