Thank you.

Got those and the Win Media Encoder 9 as well for WMA Lossless.

Just to make sure I am doing the rips into MP3 correctly,

  1. I select the Lame Encoder as type of encoding method
  2. Set bitrate to 320
  3. Point the location of the Lame.exe file
  4. First the program creates a .wav file of the song, then opens up a cmd prompt to convert it from .wav -> mp3? correct?

Thank you!

Yes, EAC will rip the CD to a .wav file, and then lame will encode it to a mp3 in the command prompt.

Dunno if there's a Windows version but XLD on the Mac is pretty brilliant. Highly configurable, does loads of different formats, really can't go wrong.
