cutting auralex mopad isolation pads

i have those foam isolator auralex mopad pads but they're a bit too wide right now. can anyone tell me how i can cut these down to size that will result in a clean finish? thanks

best thing for cutting foam (open of closed cell) is an electric steak knife. Honestly.I have used mine to cut numerous motorcycle seats

You want a very sharp blade, or a heated wire cutter.

thanks for all the suggestions. just cut them - a bit crudely, with an exacto knife. i regret not finding a longer blade to get it cut with one go. but its fine, it's clean enough.

A ten blade (scalpel) is usually a good bet too.  We use 'em to cut the foam for wound vacs after debridement.
