Probably be scratched even easier, revealing the paint underneath.  The coating is just plastic, after all...it's impossible to coat plastic with real chrome.  These are pretty much just decorations, you'd have to be pretty retarded to buy these then wear them everywhere...

I don't see the appeal in shiny chrome. I disliked it with the new grados.
