Best CD Ripping Software for OS X?

So I've been ripping a whole bunch of CDs to iTunes with the built-in AAC compression, but my laptop is quickly filling up with just that.  Since iTunes doesn't let me rip CDs to an external hard drive or any alternate location, I need new software to rip CDs with, preferably one that supports FLAC.

I can run Windows via Parallels, but I'd rather not go that route since my laptop is rather old and crappy, I just use the Windows installation for very basic things I can't do in OS X.  It can barely even play music without skipping, so I don't really wanna bog it down any more by transcoding music files.  But if there are vastly superior applications for Windows, I could probably give it a shot.

Anyway, what would you say the best software for ripping CDs on OS X is?  It needs to support ripping files to any folder I want so I can store the music on an external hard drive.

A program called MAX which is found here http://sbooth.org/Max/ Rips to FLAC or any other format. Has lots of options like CD Paranoia ripping which does extensive bit for bit check to make sure its an exact copy. Not as easy to use as itunes and of course iTunes will not play flac but its very powerful tool. One note : when you open the program it does NOT open a window but instead you have to select the converter window from the menu on the top of your screen and first you must setup the settings by going to the applications preferences. If you can't figure it out let me know and I will make a screencast video for you.

It works perfectly!  It even managed to rip a CD perfectly that I was having skipping issues with in iTunes!  You should see how scratched up it was. :P

Thanks again!

I rip all my tunes to an external HD with itunes.  Just change your folder location     iTunes>Preferences>Advanced>iTunes Media Folder Location.

Here's another free ripper.  http://tmkk.pv.land.to/xld/index_e.html  I use it for FLAC to ALAC and for ripping exact rips from CD's.
