Patch for Rockbox'd Fuze v2 to enable line-out. - Page 2

Hi,

 

Since fuze V2 is such an old player, it's so hard to find it's information. I was trying to compile a latest rockbox build but it's way beyond my computer knowledge to do it (I have zero programing knowledge). Can anyone please to do a dummy step by step of compiling a latest rockbox with the LOD patch?

 

I'm currently using a rather out of date release uploaded by this great gentleman.

The development guide explains how to setup the build tools, compile rockbox, and apply patches:

FWIW if you have a modern computer running Windows, I recommend using virtualbox since it comes with all the dev tools already setup.

Or, you could just connect your fuze with the supplied cable, navigate to the root folder and replace the ".rock box" folder with the patched version. Done.

EBay has a bunch for under $50..
