Hi guys,

Happy to hear your problems got solved.

May I ask you if there is any receipt in the package sent by gdaudiobase? Some warranty card or invoice that proves you paid money to them?

Cheers.

Unfortunately my experience with this seller is about as bad as everyone else.

Dmitry basically fails to respond to emails, at all. I could understand delays in shipping time, if he explained it (although maybe the reason he never replies is according to the terms and conditions on his own site delays caused by the seller result in a refund AND delivery of the goods. So he probably finds it best just to keep quiet rather than admit fault).

Regardless, he is an awful seller, currently my goods have been shipped since the 11th of November after ordering on the 31st of Oct, I have not received any tracking number, and have one email on the 21st of Nov with a vague reference to unspecified delays and  a statement that the tracking number would be provided "soon". Since this time, despite firing off another three emails calmly asking for more information he has failed to reply. It is now the 15th of December and there has been no update. As such I am going to have to try and resolve this issue, as another poster did, through Moneybrookers and my credit card. I do hope I get my money back and I would advise everyone to avoid this seller as there seems to be a pattern of conduct developing here.

I will keep this thread updated and hope that this is resolved.

It's been fourteen days since I ordered the FA-011 and I still haven't received a shipping notification (ordered dec 8 and today is dec 22). So after two weeks and three emails (none of which have been answered), as far as I know those headphones I bought are still sitting in russia waiting to be shipped. That's kind of ridiculous right? Anyway rather than starting a brand new thread, I decided I'd post here. Has anyone dealt with this kind of a wait before? I don't mind waiting if it's the shipping time and customs that's taking up the time, but I don't think he's even shipped the package yet and that's really getting me worried. Is he out of stock or something? Anyone know of any kind of recourse I can take?

Wish I would have read this thread before ordering :P

So after getting in touch with Moneybookers they helpfully got in contact with Dmitry and told him he had 5 working days to provide evidence the iems had shipped otherwise they would take further action.

On the last day possible, the 25th of December, I get an automated email saying my earphones had been posted on the 25th of December and the latest update is they have left the sorting area. I almost wished I just cancelled the entire transaction as it appears this guy would have quite happily kept my money and sent nothing and it was only after he was threatened with having the money refunded that he did anything.

I am now hopeful that I never have to deal with this seller again, so will be treating the iems very carefully as I would not want to have to return them to him as his service is incredibly inept. I am actually afraid I may receive already broken iems in the post, as I really doubt the honesty of this seller.

I think I may ask |joker| to remove gd-audiobase from his multi-iem review as there is a pattern of unacceptable conduct developing and I assumed that the website was trustworthy as it was linked to on his very good review of the Silver Bullets. I think the only way this seller will change his conduct is if it affects his bottom line and hopefully my experience can serve as fair warning for other potential buyers to stay away from this seller.

As for the poster above me, I would advise cancelling the transaction via your credit card company as it may take as long as three months for the items to arrive and in my case that only occurred after getting in touch with Moneybookers.

I don't remember linking GD-audiobase directly in my Silver Bullet review. May be you are are referring to |Joker|'s review thread? Sad to see the first few FA international dealers that once made FA strong are now hurting the buyer as well as FA as a brand.

I placed my order for the FA-011 on the 14th, received shipping confirmation on the 24th, and a tracking number on the 25th. I sent Dmitri a few emails asking about the progress along the way but haven't heard back from him once. I'm currently playing the waiting game and watching the tracking number patiently as I know most people here have had to wait 1-2 months to get anything from him. I may end up going through frogbeats or iDew for anything Fischer Audio from here out, but I highly doubt I'll be purchasing anything through GD-Audiobase anymore. And for what it's worth, when I emailed iDew about international shipping rates I heard back from them within 48 hours, and I sent the email on a Saturday so they may not have been in on that Sunday. Even if they were, 48 hours is miles apart from never receiving a response.

I apologise ClieOS, you are of course correct, will edit my post accordingly.

Similar to AxelCloris, I placed an order on the 14th of December.

Received an email on the 24th saying my order status has changed to "shipped" and then received a tracking number on the 25th.

Really wish I had seen this thread before placing an order with Gd-audiobase.

From the look of things, I'll probably only get my earphones in February!

I feel so tempted to just get another pair of earphones because I've gone through the entire holiday period with a backup pair (use in emergencies only!) I don't quite like :(

More or less same story.

The website now appears to be completely down. I received confirmation that Moneybookers or whatever took my money and gave it to Dmitri, but beyond that I haven't seen any confirmation from the GS-audiobase end. I put in my order late December. How long should I wait without getting any response whatsoever from the seller to contact my credit card company? I'd be content to wait, but with the website down i'm getting nervous.

PS Frogbeats seems like a great place to order Fischer Audio products. I contacted them and they replied within 24 hours (right on top of the holiday) saying they were out of stock, but willing to let me pre-order or answer questions. My advice: Put a pre-order through Frogbeats if you want these headphones. Avoid GD-audiobase (assuming their site ever comes back up)

Man, now I wish I had seen this thread before ordering my Eternas from GD last week.

Evarin, how has your order turned out? I had the same problem, got a confirmation email from Moneybookers but nothing from GD Audiobase at all! I'm wondering if I should email him to see if my order actually went through, though I'm not sure how much good that will do me after everything I've read on here.frown.gif

Long time ago I worked for a computer retailer that acted like GD Audiobase is acting now.

I'm guessing GD Audiobase is having financial problems and can not get products from their wholesalers.

GD Audiobase is taking orders for products they do not have and then feeding their customer lies so their customers do not cancel their order.

I'm guessing GD Audiobase is taking customer's money to pay the wholesalers first, before the wholesaler will ship products to GD Audiobase.

GD Audiobase claiming that their countries Custom's office is stopping products from being exported is so much "Cow poop".

I really wish I saw this thread before I ordered. I've been looking for Fischer Audio FA-003 and this was the only place that had it in stock, now I'm worried. I haven't received any information since I paid and now the site seems to be down. From previous posts, I guess I'm just going to write off the money and learn from this. Has anyone ordered recently or received their orders?
