GD Audiobase still trustworthy? - Page 3

Others have been able to access the website. I can't, and it's probably got to do with my internet connection, my apologies. I managed to access it previously on the same setup, and that's how i placed the order in the first place.

Problem solved, i managed to access it by using one of the public proxies. So it's my ISP that is blocking the site for some inane reason. That's Singapore for you.

My stuff arrived 10 min ago and I was so hungover I answered the door in my underwear and gave the postman a shock. Got my fa03 and ha02 but not fa011. Well at least something arrived wink.gif

The other box had the axiom and some other small miscellaneous stuff that I did not order.

E mailed dmitry, hopefully he will reply.

Strange....I ordered DBA-02's and I got FA-011.  I emailed Dmitry on Sat, hoping for a reply soon too.  I'm so tempted to open the FA-011 but I'm holding back till this is all sorted out.

I wouldn't mind Dba 02s but I got axiom n some other stuff that cost way less than fa011.

Still no reply. I guess there goes $110 usd. Lesson learnt, I'll stick to more reputable stores.

I actually got a response today.  I'm sorting things out with him, gunna decide if i want to keep the FA-011 and get him to ship me the DBA-02's.  Maybe he has a queue system going for emails.  I'd say give him till next week before you give up, even then just send him another email.

Sounds like GD Audiobase isn't the best place for me to be making my orders.

I'm leaving the country in the next couple weeks and need somewhere to order my Fischer Eterna's frown.gif

Ehh, couldn't you use treoo? It's based in singapore, and personally probably more reliable..

It's cheaper with gd-audio base compared to treoo but saving that 30 usd cost me dearly in the end. Still no reply from dmitry so I have contacted money bookers and they said they will try to resolve the issue.

I just came THIS CLOSE to ordering from GB Audiobase, but after seeing so many horror stories, I think I'll pass.  I was especially keen because they say the IEMs are "in stock!"...clearly, this is not the case.

One or two misunderstandings happen, but if you keep seeing a repeated pattern of unanswered e-mails, and shipping times that take between 1-3 months, something is rotten.  It doesn't matter if he's doing it on purpose or is just incompetent.

I'll look elsewhere....

I am getting quite annoyed with GD-Audiobase. I've emailed Dmitry that I wanted to return my DBA-02's because of channel imbalance and got a response that I could send them back to the address provided.

It's been three weeks now and I still haven't heard anything from him. I've emailed four (!) times, but still nothing. I'm gonna mail him next week again to tell him that if he doesn't reply within a week, I will open a dispute with my creditcard company to use my 180 days buyer insurance to get my money back.

GD audiobase is a pain in the ass but the item does arrive... expect around 2 months time for delivery and one week before any replies to emails
