GD Audiobase still trustworthy?

Hello everyone,

 

I've only just recently discovered the world of headphones and I made an order for the Fischer Audio FA-003 on GD audiobase...BUT...

 

- I got the order confirmation BEFORE paying (oink?)

- When I follow the link to the moneybookers-page (or at least that's what it appears to be) there is no field to leave my e-mail adress, nor do I have to login on this payment page. My home adress and name on the other hand is filled in the required fields already.

Also, IE says it's secure, Opera says the page is not secure...

 

Did anyone RECENTLY buy anything on GD audiobase and did he/she use this payment method? With success?

 

Hoping for a quick response (I so want the headphone!),

I ordered a pair on Friday morning, and they were out of stock on Friday afternoon. That's probably why you had difficulty with the site.

Oh, and my order went through just fine. Not shipped yet, but the order went through.

Did you go through the same procedure? (first order confirmation, and AFTER that your payment, without e-mail confirmation?) I had an order confirmation, but I'm worried about the payment...

I ordered about a couple of weeks ago. It's much like what you have described. First the Order No gets generated and I got a confirmation mail. Then I paid using Moneybookers and got a confirmation mail from them a few minutes later. I don't know how safe is Moneybookers, so I used a Virtual credit card which is valid only for that transaction.

Yup. I got an email confirmation from GD-Audio and a separate payment confirmation (albet a few days later) from Moneybookers.

I tried to pay straight away and got an error message... what's also worrying is that the site isn't 100% encrypted :/

I ordered a pair last month, I checked the tracking on the Russian post.. So far It's still on the way. been a month and a half now.. but I can wait.wink_face.gif

I ordered a pair of F-002's from gd_audiobase on eBay - March 25th.  I still have not received them.  gd_audiobase has not replied to my recent messages through eBay, and I have opened a Resolution Center case against them, since time was running out for me to do so and still be covered under eBay buyer protection.  I will report back what happens.  Not good.

UPDATE: EBay's resolution center worked. GD_audio base responded to the case filing and refunded my money. So this ended happily, but due to EBay.

I ordered a pair of Fischer Audio DBA-02's back on April 10, so today is my one month anniversary of ordering and they haven't even left Russia yet (I haven't received a tracking number). :(

Wow! The last few posts make me feel lucky for receiving my Eterna V1 and SB V2 just before SB went out of stock again!

I placed my order on April 22nd after reading on this site they were a trusted seller with 100% feedback.  lol   I think I just P***ed my money down the drain.  I've gotten one email from Dimitry since that order and that was on the 30th saying it would be shipped shortly.  I have sent 3 emails since that time with no response.  Is there anything we can do?  Contact our credit card company that we used to pay with moneybrokers??  I have a funny feeling my headphones will never arrive.

Ordered mine on 4/12 and the status was changed to shipped on the 4/13. I contacted them a week after not receiving a tracking number. I'm gonna tell them to cancel my order if it hasn't been shipped yet on Monday and see what happens. According to his last email and the website, my order should have been shipped on 5/13 at the latest. I would avoid these guys like the plague until they start sending out orders.

Our customs asked us to go thorugh additional verification proccess, and it takes some and thas why there are delays in the shippment and sending of tracking numbers.

Your parcel is in the customs and waitiing for export once we will solve all questions with customs you will be sent by tracking number straight away after your parcel will be proccessed by customs.

It has been 3 weeks since I made my order. Is the customs issue resolved? When can I expect to get my order if you are still having problems with customs?

We understabd that order processing is taking too long thi time, but since we were asked by our customs to go thorugh additional verification proccess, we were unable to send any overseas parcels within that time. Now all qestions are solved and we ship all delaed orders by parts. If you have not been sent by tracking tracking number yet, it means that your order shipping is planed on this holidays or beginning of the next week. If you rorder is fro FA-003 all FA-003 order will be shipped on the next week. We would be very glad to do it all faster, but it depend on our customs and we cant get it work faster. If you dodnt want to wait, you can issue refund.
Average delivery time is two weeks.
