Hey guys,

 

I just received a pair of recabled Beyerdynamic DT880s from a member on this forum. The member had no idea, but the headphones produce static when the cable is angled away from the headphone. I think the wires on the inside may be crossing. 

 

Is someone in the area available to take a quick look at these? I do not have much experience opening up headphones and I don't want to start experimenting on a $300 pair. 

 

Any help would be appreciated.
