I am wondering how many of you have used Audacity to do multi track mixing. I used to use Audacity to make karaoke mixes in my own voice with a regular 3.5" mic on my onboard soundcard, which resulted in lag free records using the native directsound drivers.

 

I get the instrumental track and mix it with my own voice, while singing the vocals.

 

However, I recently tried using my EMU 0202 with a studio mi and its giving a horrible lag while recording my voice, i.e. my voice records after say about 500ms I sing the song.

 

I know the obvious answer to this is using ASIO, but Audacity does not support ASIO.



So..is there any other similar software that uses ASIO natively, where I can achieve the same purpose as this ?
