I dunno..I'm reading it off the Audirvana Plus app. But it does the same for my Fostex HP-A8. So maybe Audirvana Plus is not reporting properly (since the -dB doesn't have an LCD display to show what it's receiving). Here you can see the source file is actually SACD/DFF. I'm listening to this right now off my -dB/RxMk3/TG!334 fully balanced :-
Anyhow...192 or 176.4, it's such a small matter. I'd really question if anyone can hear that difference.

Do you mind me asking where you got your mini interconnect to connect the balanced inputs on the Solo and RX Mk3-b please? I have a Solo-db on the way but I am having trouble sourcing cables in the UK.

Samplerates are based on two numbers 44.1 and 48. In hires they can then become 88.2 and 176.4 or 96 and 192 respectively. Many dacs don't support the 88.2 and 176.4 rates. 44.1 is red book cd

AFAIK, only ALO Audio makes those :-

Whiplash makes these and I'm sure others do as well

Really? I know most cable makers are capable of custom-making these balanced ICs if they access to the KobiConn connectors. However ALO's the only one I know that makes them as off-the-shelf standard (for now).

Anyone else noticed that the CLAS (-dB) disappeared from the ALO AUDIO website? This is a real shame because gone is the buy together-option. Hopefully this is a temporary thing.

You can give me a shout if you need one, we are based in the UK.
Got my DB couple weeks ago, not had a chance to open it up yet.
Don't mind the tape. i have opened the amp up so many times, the thread has worn, so so have to hold the panel with tape.

yes, gone? ggrrrr, I wonder if this will also put the Refreshed version behind aswell? I am waiting anxiously to see the -R come to the market? I thought and was hoping to see it come out in Nov. oh well at least I have the original version to tide me by!
yes that is what I am thinking, I am sure it will be worth the wait though, better to fix any issues sooner then later, wish there wasn't any to fix, but...c'est la vie,
Ken is great and does great work! we will see after the Holidays, which I'm sure they are taking a well deserved Holiday break!
in the mean time, Happy Holidays! and and even Happier Listening everyone!
