yeah..I know.  i once had windows 7 and wasapi is great.  i am considering getting another cheapo computer to use as a transport for audio only,with windows 7 installed.  i just can't format my current xp machine becasue i have softwares installed on it that i can't get again.

Hum, those apps you have installed, can't you find updated versions on the web?
