Beyerdynamic DT770 Headphone Connector Broke

Hey guys,

 

The tip of my friend's DT770 headphone connector broke. He wanted to repair them...we found this online: http://www.ehow.com/how_114206_replace-headphone-plug.html

 

Anything else we should know?

That pretty much covered it.

The video is clear and easy to follow. The only problem is that the guy's soldering technique isn't ideal. But you can visit Tangent video tutorials for your essential soldering knowledge.
