Ipod Digital out, pure i-20?

I'm interested in buying an ipod doc capable of transporting the digital signal of an ipod out to a dac. The pure i-20 is my choice as of now. Are there are other options around the $100.00 price point? Just want to make sure its still the best option before I pull the trigger.

Don't think there are any options at the price point. Cambridge Audio have announced a new product, iD100 Digital Dock which seems to have better connectivity options (balanced XLR outputs) but its also more expensive (close to £200 compared to i-20 for £75 in UK)

Is there a difference between the much more expensive Wadia 171i (or the Onkyo NS-D1) and the Pure i-20? Does the Pure i-20 have Apple license to retrieve bit-perfect data by-passing iPod internal DAC/AMP?
