I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...
Sennheiser HD-598s are the most comfortable headphones I've had the opportunity to use. I recommend these wholeheartedly for any first-time hi-fi buyer because of their excellent soundstage and...
I just received my SigPros (bought from a fellow head-fi'er), and now have several hours with them. They are great headphones. Agree with most of what everyone's saying about them. These...
Beats out the Bose Triport, the HD 202 and HD 435s, the AT M35 and AT M50. Just try it and see. Extremely comfortable (I wear mine while commuting and studying, for about 5+ hours a day). Bought...
I'm open to suggestions, I would like RCA/Optical aswell as USB, I have no knowledge of dacs all I know if the Paradesia 3 at 32ohm audio made my music sound like gods voice.
I've heard nothing but good reviews for the HRT Music Streamer II. It lists at $150. But it doesn't have optical support.
But I'm in the same position as you, I'm looking to buy an entry level DAC for my fledgling computer/system combo so I can ditch the 3.5mm headphone to RCA cord I'm using now!
yea I was looking into that, looks perfect but I wana try it out at 32ohm audio first haha, I always feel like a dick when I dont buy things from them...but i have spend close to 900$ with them .
it can be a pain in the butt to get working on optical but someone left instructions on the review on how to get it working. Im not sure but i think it has to stay hooked into a computer to function.
Dont buy creative's products. They'll load you down with false advertising and then give you no warranty or technical support. The AMB Gamma 1 is exactly in your price range if you dont mind the DIY aspect.
