Cable Reviews(Electrical Mesurements etc..)

Are there any website or magazines make measurements of signals made of differing prices and of different materials?  I think that should pretty much debunk cable myths.  The evidence is right there, and if some one says they still hear a difference, and calling them delusional is warranted at that point.

Is it really necessary to start an inflammatory thread like this?

You must have missed this one:

Measurements to your heart's content.

How is it inflammatory?  It is only what you make it, and it seams you are making it inflammatory by stating it is.deadhorse.gif
What I have stated above is not inflammatory, its reasonable. I have stated my premises, and stated the most logical conclusion.

What is agreed upon based on understanding of basic(not too complex, any child can understand) principles:

Electrical signal travels through the cables.  Electrical signal is sent to the drivers.  The signal causes drivers to vibrate and make sound.

Situations that occur:

People think expensive cables are better than stock or least expensive one.

Someone has a reasonable idea based on scientific principles.  We can deduce if they really are by measuring the electrical signals passing through the cables to see if there are audible difference in the signals between the cables.

Expensive cable buyer don't like like the idea because its to logical and scientific, and not based on their ear.  They claim they hear things that the electrical signals do not cause ?  which contradicts what science explains(or common sense) as electrical signal causing the movement of the headphone drivers and thus the sound in the first place.

The expensive cable buyer is tagged as delusional.

The expensive cable buyer is very unhappy, and start to make circular arguments about its their opinions or there is magic in the air that is not explained, but yet it is explained.

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure I saw a hoof that was still twitching a bit. biggrin.gif

This has been covered before, so I will lock it.

Nick Charles and others have measured cables. I've put aftermarket cables on my meters and 'scope, as well.

I didn't find any difference. I'm not aware of anyone who has.
