Monster Copper Turbine Pro not enough BASS? - Page 2

Have you tried the Coppers with Sony Hybrids? I found these to be best for getting a deeper seal and more bass.

I'd say the IE8 has the most powerful and intrusive bass of the three. It also isolates the least. The Atrio MG7 has a more visceral sub-bass rumble, but has less mid-bass compared to the IE8 (with the dial on full). The Copper with sony hybrids sits somewhere between the two I'd say with more of a balance between mid and sub-bass. I wouldn't describe it as lacking bass.

It might be worth considering the Westone 3 too if you like mid-bass punch over sub-bass rumble. I don't know about the Monster MDs just yet as I'm awaiting a replacement pair.

X2 on the Sony Hybrids - thats what I use on the Coppers and the Miles Davis. If you want coppers to be bass monsters, try the Auveo tips from Radio Shack. They are very shallow and wide open and the bass is a bit overwhelming to my ears. I use the Auveos on the IE8 and IE7 (for fit reasons, not to get more bass).

i have the Gold and miles davis now,  from what i hear, monster's high tier IEMs are more of sub bass oriented, they give you a lot of low end rumble, some times the huge amount of sub bass makes me wanna puke. the impact which is mid bass isnt so powerful at all IMO when compare to some cans and my car stereo.   i read here the the copper you got have a lot lesser bass than the gold and miles davis.

Honestly they are closer than further apart in bass.  Difference being the Coppers are quicker.  If you can imagine the MDs bass as a bit quicker and tighter you have an idea of the Coppers bass.
