Shouldn't be so difficult then, it is nice to hear. I honesltly didn't use aftermarket cables yet but I am darn interested in some Whiplash and Beat Audio cables. After getting the ciem they will be my next targets I guess.

The SE5 already sound incredible with stock cable. But:

  • Stock cables are usually flimsy so I like to have something more sturdy
  • If there is the slightest chance of improving the SE5, even by 1%, I am all for it !

LOL biggrin.gif I think I will stick with stock until they are broken then try new things. Of course an experienced person like you or Joe will be the ones I will follow. I remember you were going for ultimate portability, do you still stick your TP + SE5 or you change your current gear?

Please do not compare me. I have nice gear because I love it and can affort it, but have very limited experience....nothing like Joe :) I can only give an opinion according to my tastes. I have heard cables to improve the sound in one occurence, so I believe it can, but that's it.

I am listening to TP with SE5 right now, still among my favorites. I am waiting for an AK120 to replace my AK100 and we will see...

Anybody owning the SE5 had the chance to try the SE2?

The SE5 would be overkill to me as i don't use iems very often, only a few hours per week and on hollydays, so i would like to get a good iem and the SE2 seems just what i need, however there´s almost zero reviews on the 2 way pro...

Apreciate any feedback, thanks!

Would be nice to see how SE5 pairs with AK120 alone. It can be ultimate portable set for most of us.

I should finish this bloody master and get a job btw. I so envy you guys frown.gif

My wife has the SE3 reference and like them a lot but that is all I can tell you :)

I read a lot about them, they say it is kinda bass heavy ciem, not my cup of tea honestly. I will prefer to wait until I hit what I exactly want.

I also love analytical sound, maybe after SE5 way or if my ear canals are not large enough for SE5 way, if it is possible to build SE3 way pro for me, I can look for them too. It is almost impossible to find somebody who uses them so I don't know anything except SE claims in their website.

I suggested my girlfriend to get a nice pair of headphones for her (she doesn't like the idea of iems, don't like something inside of the ear), she said, I am already too much into it, she won't fall for it either. So she refuses to use something costs more than 50 euros. Kinda sad actually because she likes listening to music, it could be good to see her reaction after she hears things when she couldn't hear before.

Did you try to contact SE by email? I think he can help you by explaining and you can find out which one will fit your needs.

Yes, I'm ordering it. Well, half price for the pre-order but once the pre-order is closed it will be within Miracle price range.

I'm quoting a private message from piotrus-g:

Having heard Miracles I'd say it quite different sounding IEM. Especially due to silicone vs acrylic body. Way more organic, warm-ish sound and more highs quantity but resolution/airyness is smaller, more close/intimate soundstage.

Sounds like SE5 isn't it? Except with probably more extended high and less bass rumble. Let's see when I get it. I'll give a short impression (I'm not a review type kind of guy wink.gif).

I am looking for a new silver cable for my se5. I will certainly go with UM as they do it in one week and accept to put longer pins, suitable for the se5.

actually I have it. But I didn't bother with it too much.
The overall sound is a one the brighter, thinner, smaller side. The bass is average. Doesn't go deep or punch hard. Nothing really stand out for se2. It is what it is for its price

Huh, that puts me off..best move it's to save some money for the SE5 and maybe in 2027 i'll buy them. biggrin.gif Small and thin sound it's definitly not for me.

That's a whole lot of silicone - that may not be legal in a public place!  biggrin.gif
