Exactly my question:)

Damn it, I really don't think I can afford it now, bad luck. Thank you very much Jazzy for thinking about me but Mim is right, I am currently saving again for dap upgrade but I can't afford TP now. F*** my chance...

As much as I like my TP, I'm actually using the AK120 more often.. And I'm looking for some extra cash to buy things to make my studio ready.

The AK120 might be more convenient and versatile, but with both the SE5 and the 1Plus2, the TP blows the AK120 out of the water, and then back in the water, and then out again. IMO that is :)

I'm only 27 and I remember doing that :P

I think the opposite with the AK120 and 1Plus2. The tera is on the boring side for me on the 1Plus2. Smooths over the detail too much IMO (also does something weird to the mids). Pairs a lot better on the AK120 in that case. On the SE5 I have to say the Tera sounds really good with it. I like how that combo pairs and may consider a Tera down the line.

Anyway, for those who are interested in TP, just send me a PM. I don't want to put it in classified yet, I prefer selling it to someone from this thread so SE5 owners can have a taste of the best combo ever ;).

I think you have more custom IEMs than he does maguire :). Well about even now if you consider his dirt-cheap NT6 (lucky bastard lol).

I only have the SE5 :) And soon the NT6...I do not want to get too many (even if I want so many), otherwise they would not get the attention they deserve.

(bolded text) This is actually quite important. I like the way you think Mim. I also think there is no need to buy so many c/iems but have only the best a few ones.. More than enough and you can actually spend time with them instead of testing and playing around.

And yes, I am bloody jealous about your NT6 too :D

We will see how the NT6 goes...I got a great deal, but I am just worried that it will sound almost exactly like my 1Plus2 so one of them will be redundant...

It won't. And you already have too many IEMs :p
