Use Pelican 1010 to put just the se5. And on the go check out Moleskine Shell XS.

I have a feeling like 1010 would be small. Is it actually bigger than the Otter came with the monitors?

It is. My pair is really big and did not fit in the Otter really well but fits nicely in the P1010

Oh okay then. I just don't like to spend time on cables, every time roll them around my fingers and try to put them in the case properly, then fit the monitors in the case etc etc. I prefer carry something bigger with me actually. Since I am a student, I go everywhere with my backpack and there is always a space for that kind of things. I will probably either go for 1010 or 1020 then (after comparing size measurements). Thanks Mim ;)

Go for pelican 1015, 1020 or Otterbox Pursuit 40

1010 is as small as Otterbox 1000

Peli 1010: 4.37" x 2.87" x 1.68" (11.1 x 7.3 x 4.3 cm)

Otterbox 1000: Internal Dimensions: 3.700" x 2.350" x 1.000"

Well ok Otterbox is 0.5" smaller in every dimensions

There's also new i1010 case that will fit ipod

The extra size of the 1010 is just what is needed for me smily_headphones1.gif

I believe 1010 would be too small for me, I want a comfortable use. Probably 1020 is the one I should buy. Anyway thanks for all the info guys.

I think the 1010 case is the best for bulky universals (EX1000, 7550, TG334, Parterre) and customs; it's a case that is still small enough to be reasonably portable (the case FitEar use for the F111, 334 & Parterre (though I had one before those IEMs were released for my customs [ES3X])

I decided to buy a new case for my monitors, as you know Otter one is quite small and opening hurts my fingers even after using more than a month.

What I want is something bigger that I don't need to worry about the cable + if possible I would like to put a dap in it too. Something like let's say iPod Classic size or DX50 size. Which Pelican do you think would be the best for me?

I am not sure about that dap idea though, maybe I will just get something a bit bigger than Otter and keep the dap in my pocket. What other users suggest to me at this point?

An idea I "stole" from another Head-Fier, in another thread I read years ago.

Sorry, I can't remember to whom credit should be given. redface.gif

Pelican 1015 Micro Case

Dry-Packs Plastic Canister

I can even fit in a Sansa Clip Zip. Everything is tight, but nothing is squashed:

Thanks Sinocelt, I think I saw this one before and it was you again who shared it :happy_face1: Actually I like the size of the Pelican Case, I think this would be good for me. Plus, I can fit a dap in it too.

Wish at least I'd been thanked as well (specially knowing the 1010 is the better choice). Oh well...

I actually checked the dimensions of all of them and decided to go for 1020 as a safe choice and easy of use. The problem I have, I don't want to spend too much time on rolling the cables and fixing them in the case, paying attention all the time.

However, it doesn't prevent me to thank you specially music_4321, I appreciate your post and information but I feel like since I have always space in my backpack, a little bit bigger case is a better choice for me.

^   As time goes by and you get more used to your customs and realise you don't have to look after them as if they were a newborn child, you might reconsider getting a 1010 case — after all, these cases can be had had for ~$20 (delivered to good old Belgium). I can easily tell Mr Sinocelt is the sort of person that might be labelled a bit OTT (no offence meant to Mr Sinocelt).
