I built a lot of models, too. Many were less than perfect. smily_headphones1.gif My favorite were model rockets. I used to launch them down here in Arizona all the time.

Shame that these sorts of things are frowned upon these days - I'd worry about some government agency coming down on me. But it's still legal (hopefully) to play with high voltage electronics. Tubes aren't a threat to national security, right? wink.gif

They are if they have wires attached to them. Remember, a box full of wires can be easily mistaken for a bomb, despite the complete lack of explosive material.

Oh, I know. Sad, really. I'd love it if my nephews had as much fun with rockets as I did.

I'm still experimenting with high voltage audio, though. Don't see how it could hurt anyone but myself, as long as I'm careful.
