Where do you go for late night food? - Page 5

Can't comment on Culver's (never even heard of them) but Checkers is open late (at least 12, likely much later depending where you go) and cheap. They usually have specials for burgers and stuff. They had one last year, two double bacon cheeseburgers on texas toast for $4. Add another $2.50 for fries and a drink, not too bad. Actually thinking back, I haven't had Checkers in close to a year and a half.

From what I remember too, Checkers is also called Racers in the Midwest. How can you not love a fast food joint with a burger called the Baconzilla?

Here in Skövde, Sweden... You have to cook your own food that late.  Except for McDonalds (and one other cafe) on weekends, after the bars/clubs close.

Hey, I've been to all of those places! Of course, it's not like East Lansing is a very big town...

Anyway,

The latest I ever get something from out of the house would be around 11:00 PM. Later than that, and I'd fix something myself. I'd usually get something from either Pizza Hut (about 300 yards away) or Cosi, if it was early enough that they were still open.

I rekindled my love for Checkers Saturday. Its been almost two years, but their burgers are still among the best I have had fast food wise (Baconzilla!!!!) and their fries are bar none, the best of any fast food joint, and definitely among the better I have ever had. Just something about them that makes them really hit the spot.

Best of all, they are all over Philly near where my girlfriend just moved.

If only Head-Fi was a city.

Then again, we would have problems with reproduction....

We'd learn to asexually reproduce, of course. Or just a man-tastic city!

Me and the future Mrs. love making midnight Sheetz runs. Nothing beats Grande Fryz at an odd hour of the morning.
