Where do you go for late night food?

I'm at the Filiberto's down here in Yuma. On Tuesdays, tacos are 99¢ each.

Where do you go for late night eats? Chain, fast food or local, it doesn't matter. If you're hungry at 2AM, where do you go?

Cosmo's Pizza across the street from a Denny's and a 24/7 McDonald's. Massive slices of NYC style pie(similar to Pizza Suprema but bigger), open til 2:30 AM consistently and a cool, competent staff. As a matter of fact I just got back from there about 10 minutes ago. I was about to have a little photo shoot with my lovely slices but my camera battery gave up on me.

I expect the other Singaporeans will weigh in (hur hur) on this in a bit.

We've got a lot of late night eateries here, of the...err, al fresco variety. What they lack in air conditioning, they make up for in caloric content:

Late night snacks here tend to be savoury, spicy, and pretty darned oily. Those pics are of

  • Indian prata (fried flour pancake),
  • Chinese char siew (BBQ'd pork in sweet sauce) and,
  • Malay nasi lemak (white rice soaked in coconut cream).

the closest refrigerator.

When i am at my apartment in some city i like, anywhere, that city never sleeps. but mostly some place like donuts and alikes, breakfast tastes better at 2 or 3 am.

when i am at work ... nowhere. there is nothing around. if you dont eat at the designated hours, thats it you are screw, unless you have some snacks with you, or food.

I go to my kitchen, I often got food there. I'm extremely seldom out at night (last time was about 2 years ago), so there's not really any other place I go.

George Webb's when I'm in the homeland, but sadly it is Wisconsin only. The breakfast is sublime at 2am, I used to meet my old math teacher there at 4am some mornings. Go for the Double Webb breakfast, or the 6 burgers for $5 deal if the Brewer's are doing well :)

When I'm on campus my late-night place of choice is either the Hard Times Cafe or Mesa Pizza (mac'n'cheese pizza ftw!). If I want coffee, it's to the Hard Times, if I want some awesome pizza I head to the latter.

Back in East Lansing, Jimmy Johns, Bells Pizza and Rice Kitchen were my haunts of choice.  If we had a sweet tooth - Insomnia Cookies!  That's right, a late-night homemade cookie joint.  The only problem is that they are absurdly expensive.  A small cookie (think typical home made chocolate chip cookie size) at Insomnia costs almost as much as a slice of pizza at Bells ($1 before, now $1.25).

Here in Skövde, Sweden... You have to cook your own food that late.  Except for McDonalds (and one other cafe) on weekends, after the bars/clubs close.

Seeing as I live out in the forest and would have to drive 45 minutes

to find anyplace that would be open at 2:00 am, I just raid the left-

overs in the refrigerator.

Pretty much the entirety of Seoul is open 365/24/7. I have very little worry about late night munchies. But, that has caused me to gain weight. I was never a snacker in Canada or Sweden, but here, I can snack at any hour... and have gained about 3kg.

Not much is open late here in the OC. You're stuck to Del Taco, Denny's and Jack In The Box as the only 24 hour places around. After that, In 'N' Out closes at 1 and every other place seems to close at 11 or 10. It's lame around here.

Whaaaaaa.....   Only three all night choices!

I shed a tear for you.

Meanwhile, in Sweden, you can't even get gas after 11:00...  and I know the same is true for much of rural America anywhere.  But I'm in a city of 50,000.

Foodler is my best friend (worst enemy). I haven't figured out a favorite place in Allston yet, but uBurger is good after a night out of bar hopping

I normally eat chicken or cereal, but if I had to go out, my only real options are McD's, BK, and Wendy's.
