6GM8 sound differences, A-frame vs. square, Germany vs. Holland?

It seems that there are two main types of 6GM8, the A-frame and the square-frame. Since Amperex was (supposedly) the only maker of this model, does it matter if an A-frame is made in W. Germany or Holland? Do all A-frame sound the same, and like-wise for the squares?

Look in the ehha and ehha-rev-a threads. There are many discussions about 6gm8 tubes.
