Dac recommendation for Burson HA-160

Thread Starter

Any recommendations on a good source for the burson HA-160. I'm thinking of the following options:

a) Get the HA-160D instead of the HA-160.

b) Get the Arcam rDac.

c) Cambridge Magic (or something like that).

Any opinions?

It'll be the same money for the most part. I expect DAC technology to change at a much faster rate than Amp technology, Probably makes more sense to get separates because of that reason.

I'll be running HD650s and Denon 5000s.

Get HA-160D. You will save on ICs and some space. Besides, HA-160D's amp was improved over the one in HA-160 too.

I agree..is the most practical way. To have all in one box solution.

There are threads on similar topics, and the HA160 pairs well with everything.
