Well thing is, USD converted into SEK (Swedish) is pretty low atm. Like I think there's a new record in USD being so low atm...

By the way, this is pretty much how every headphone is atm... For example, the normal price for beats here is 500$.

So maybe the m50's are worth if after all?

A while ago I was in the same position and I ended getting the M50 from US for a total of around $200. Maybe the Shure SRH750DJ could be a good candidate for the best bang for the buck with swedish prices as it's 650kr (~$100) cheaper than the M50? I haven't heard them myself though so don't take my word for it.

SRH750DJ is infinitely less comfortable, and also build-quality is absolutely sub-par compared to M50 (it's even worse than other SRH Shure headphones). Sound-quality wise you have to try it yourself, but more likely than not they are really even. However hey you're paying for some headphones that will give you enjoyment and pleasure and also last a long time, not besiege your head and then break.

Also here in Canada, it's a no-brainer to get the M50...the SRH750DJs are MORE EXPENSIVE - ridiculous, I know. Even from Ebay, M50 is cheaper for us Canucks.

Actually, the cheapest price according to swedish version of pricehunter is 174$. Also the shure aren't closed back are they? They seem pretty uncomfortable against the m50's.

Even though the price tag on the m50's is big I think I will go for it. I'm pretty sure the headphones im getting are worth it.

Thanks for all your responses!

The Shures ARE closed

But the m50s are probably going to be worth it :)
