Hello, been lurking here for a few months now. Finally found the need to create an account.
Anyways, I have the opportunity to acquire a used Sennheiser HD600 for $210 (with bad cables, so $25 for replacement) to complement my Denon AH-D2000. They will be used with my Little Dot I+ (OPAMP stock or OPA2107, tubes 6IJ or CV4010) and Audinst HUD-mx1 DAC.
Now, how sibilant is the HD600 compared to the D2000? I find the Denon very sibilant, to the point of listening exclusively to dubstep. Everytime an 's' is spoken it overwhelms every other sound and hurts my ears, and other sibilant parts (e.g. cymbals) sounds "imprecise", like a bunch of hissing. I'm pretty content with everything else with my D2000, although a little less bass and more midrange wouldn't hurt. A second, but minor question, is how well will my current setup be able to drive the HD600's?
Thanks in advance.
