Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80-Ohm Appreciation Thread - Page 15

it sure kicks the crap out of my realtek onboard!!! <3 it.

I will eventually get the Aune T1 though...

Will be interesting to listen to your impressions about Aune T1 and DT770 80 Ohm. I've got both of them and result is...ambiguous. Own Aune less than month, so it's too fast for conclusions.

Why do the silver pads cost more than black ones?

I only own the COP's.

Hi Friends.

i love my DT 770 PRO... is there away to customize the headphones to be better.. ?

Better in terms of comfort, use, and/or sound?  There are all kinds of modifications if you search.

I just got a Schiit Bifrost and Asgard 2.  I'm really impressed at how much better the DT770-80's sound with that combo.   I had been using a FiiO E17/E09k combo before.  Much better bass control, just the right amount of highs, smooth if a little recessed in the kids.  It's a really good combo for these phones.  I also have some AKG K712's  that sound great with the Schiit stack, but the improvement isn't as obvious as it is with the Beyers...

Right now I'm running mine out of my Macbook Pro and they sound pretty freaking sweet. I was looking to pick up an E7 soon though.

E5/6/7 are very poor amps, I'd recommend stepping up to something better. E10 and E17 seem more worthwhile in the lower price range.

Ahh, thanks for the tip. I'd rather pay more and get a better value for price than not getting what I need for a cheaper price.

Hey, what's the best combo for DT770 80 ohm for $100-$200?

Mostly music, but sometimes also games.

Connected to PC, current line in my signature.

Thanks in advance for help :)

There's a used Sparrow amp/dac on the Sale forum. Fine all-in-one unit.
