Surround for television

Hi all!

 

My dad is looking around to buy some speaker for our tv...

He allready looked up some systems and heard them "live" at some shops and he prefers the bose surround Lifestyle V35

But since everybodey here says bose is so ridiculously overpriced I'd want your guys opinion on it.

So what surround system could he get which is better then the bose system mentioned above?
