Very insightful comparison baka. I wish I had the opportunity to hear the seemingly wonderful gear being mentioned in this thread. frown.gif

Outstanding review and well worth the wait.

Good review, and what a nice, easy read.  I thought dynamic range meant something else till now, looked it up and turns out you're correct in your usage of it.

I think there will be another 3-CH B22 at the meet in case you're unable to make it, looking forward to hearing it, or yours.

great thesis Ross.  you know i see some of the same differences in my WA2 vs M3 comparison. maybe ill just change out b22 for m3 and wa6se for WA2 :) jk

Baka, have you thought about giving the Sonnet a try?  From most reports it sounds like a match made in heaven for the HD800s, very affordable too as far as top HD800 amps go.

Or maybe trying out the 7n7/6sn7 tube adapters Woo just released?

Well I'm hoping Jack brings those adapters to the meet if he comes.  There, one extra incentive to try to make it.  =]

I hope he brings that supposedly new prototype to the meet. My wallet is cringing right now biggrin.gif

Pink Floyd is usually what I run for when I pick up new gear. Great info, thanks.

Haven't gotten to read the full write-up yet..But I gotta know what shelves you're using? I've been looking for some like that to fit the design of my room.
