Future Head-Fi Rig Analysis

Thread Starter

Greetings Head-Fi!

Ive been lurking the forums for quite some days now, soaking up the info that is spread out in the page, hoping to get some clues towards the purchase of a Head-Fi Rig. I think I have reached a nice setup but then again this is the reason I am making this thread, to see what you guys think.

So here it is:

Headphones - Beyerdynamic DT 880 Edition (600 Ohms)

DAC - Cambridge Audio Dacmagic

Amplifier - WooAudio 3

Cabling - Cambridge Audio AUD900

I would only play lossless audio on this Setup. The music I listen to is very varied, I can be Rock, Metal, Blues, Opera, Classical, Electronic, Folk.... Its all around the park, that is the main reason I chose the DT 880, Ive read many people saying that they are good neutral Headphones.

My budget is 1000 Pounds (1629 Dollars), I am open to suggestions and feedback as id like to have the best experience possible for what I am spending.

Thank you Head-Fi Community!

You failed to notice the title of this forum,High End.

You would be much better served if you post in the Headphones forum or in the amp forum or in fact anywhere except here.

I worry not But you will get many more responses in those others.

Yeah you are in the wrong forum.   Stuff that get talk about in this forum are usually in the 1k range.  Although if I to make suggestion I would save your money and just get an audeze lcd 2 or similar high end headphone and a good 600 dollars amp to go with it.  The DAC and all the other stuff have less improvement with SQ compare to those two.  This will save you a lot of money over small increment upgrade.
