I've got around $500 to spend on a desktop system out of an ipod classic. I've been getting all kinds of advice from the boards the last couple days. (Thanks!) For a while I was going to get a dac but I think I'll ride out my classic until it croaks. I think these are two solid options. Which would you choose and why? I know that preference is going to be huge here, but I'm curious! I listen to lots of classical and jazz, w/ a smattering of alternative or world.

I have a e9+HD650, and it sounds better than anything I've ever heard, but thats out of a MacBook, but I think it's a good idea
