burned mp3 and random play?

Hey guys,

My friend burned a few cd's of mp3's, but can't play them randomly on his shelf system. Is there any way to burn them again with this feature.

His stereo has random play, but I'm not sure if the means for normal cd's or mp3's aswell.

Thanks
Chris

I'm guessing it is the cd player that prevents random play mp3's. You don't put anything onto a burned CD of mp3's to get it to play random, AFAIK.

I have a Panasonic self system (something 500) and it plays mp3s except not randomly. But on the other hand, it mentioned its lack of random mp3 playing ability only about a dozen time in the instruction book. It would be cool though, but mp3-playback ability and random functions don't always work together.
