Just want to start off that currently I am using the headfive amp. I got it back in 2006 and still love using it. I am the original owner and it is still my first headphone amp. Anyways, I have been looking at all these neat new amps that have come out throughout the years and it has got me interested in what else is out there but most of the products seem to be very expensive unless I go with some sort of portable set up(which I don't have). In the end I want to know if I should be looking around for something else or should I just be happy with what I got since I have had absolutely no complaints about the headfive even after all these years. Plus I can't live without it when trying my headphones with different sources. Oh and I do plan on getting the dt990 600ohm whenever I can get a used one for a good price but it is a waiting game so I hope at least the headfive could run it.
