Need new setup

Hi guy

I would like to change my Ipod 5G the EQ is horrible, and it's just way too big and heavy with a penguin peppermint amp

I will go to Bangkok soon, but i don't know what will give me the best sound quality with FLAC or M4A and Westone 3/4 :

- Cowon S9 + amp
- Iphone 4 + LOD + Amp + EQu
- Ipod nano 6G + LOD + Amp
- Or maybe other config

Thanks in advance for your help

Benjamin

PS : I really need a setup with no hisss

I will finaly go with a Nano 6G + LOD + Ibasso T3D + Westone 3

Is it a good choice, how about the sound quality with M4A files ?

By the way, is the EQ, finally usable on the 6G Nano ?

I can answer one of those questions. I own a nano 6G

Sad to say the EQ still sucks horribly. hello distortion! and still can't customize.

because of this I got a Cowon J3 and couldn't be happier!!

Too bad... triportsad.gif

But since I really need something small like this

LunaTik_SideCloseup.jpg

With the Ibasso stick under it

I don't really have a choice...

cowon doesnt need an amp really. so it will probably end up being the same size.

which one ?

- S9 is really close to an Ipod touch in size

- J3, D3 or too bulky

- E2 no screen

The problem, I often carry with me, a combo Ipad-Iphone "full of aeronautic charts, video, manual, software and stuff" and an Ipod 80GB (mostly FLAC) + penguin peppermint amp...

I could go with the S9 or the Iphone 4 + EQu + LOD + amp, but I really hate when I have to take it off my pocket just to change music. With my actual setup + a pair of jeans, it's more a fight than a pleasure.

That why I would love something, I could control directly on the back of my forearm, and the 6G + Lunatik + ibasso, weight less than my actual watch

The drawback : No 32GB yet and no Ibasso Tx that allow me to configure EQ on computer
