Best (highest quality) way to output audio from Apple MacBook Pro to integrated amp/receiver

Eventually I will buy an outboard DAC, but until then is there a piece of equipment that will let me output my audio having a USB in from my computer and outbound RCA jacks to go into an amp or receiver?

Instead of going USB out, you can go from mini stereo jack at headphone out to  stereo RCA input at the receiver.

Just buy a mini to RCA cable.

The mini plug goes into your soundcards out and the RCA into your receiver/amp.

I'd use the optical out over USB, providing your amp has an optical input. If not you can pick up a USB to RCA cable online for pretty cheap.
