Ya, I got that in my mail too...

I got that email also.  I hope this is a good thing.  It would be nice if they added the National parts to the sample program.

Some of their parts are actually the same LME49600 and BUF634 

If you look at the datasheet it is identical. There are already a couple of cross licencing 

 

But it would be interesting to pair some of their parts together. 

 

Interesting news indeed. Now lets watch if Analog would buy or merge with someone smaller

National has it's own sample program.

What does Singapore have to do with this?  Texas Instruments and National Semiconductor are both US companies, the former is headquartered in Dallas, Texas; the latter in Santa Clara, California.

Man, national wasn't nearly as big as I thought they were..

I thought they were an equal of TI.. but not even close... HRM..

I've always been under the impression that TI is an ENORMOUS semiconductor company.
