What Settings for Audigy Sound Card While Using Headphones? Headphone or 7.1?

Question, what settings should I use when I use my headphones. Also, which setting for my 2.1 setup? I'm using a Creative SoundBlaster Audigy SE. I have options for 2/2.1 - 7/7.1, and headphones. Ill just be using my HD 280s. Thanks.

I like the 2.1 setting the best.

Match output to what you have and want to listen to. 2.1 for your 2.1 speakers. Headphones for your headphones. For games that support positional audio you probably want to use your headphones with CMSS 3D (only works with games that support EAX), but I'm not sure when CMSS 3D for headphones began to work with EAX - check your manuals if this matters to you.
