Does the xonar stx have a sub out?

I hope I'm wrong but it looks like you bought a subwoofer for passive speakers.. If that's the case I don't think you'll be able to connect them to your setup.

Yea that sub is designed to be used with a receiver or speaker amp, not actives you should have got a sub with a pass - thru , but it still might be possible to connect up if your soundcard has a sub out.

An STX doesn't. Only if you have the extra add-on.

If you hook up the sub to the sub out of your Xonar card you might have to set it to 5.1 as the 2.0 option wont give your sub any sound. I dont remember the Xonar drivers having an option for 2.1... it's been a while though
