Even though the album doesn't hit shelves until April 12, the Foo Fighters have released the entire album for online streaming:

I had mixed feelings about the release of a new album. Excited but very worried that it wouldn't be that great. And hardly any of the rock bands I like are still around.

But this really blew me away! It has such a fresh sound for them. I miss the funny videos but this makes up for it big time! wink.gif

I took a quick listen to it on AOL the other day and is it just me or do all foo fighter songs sound the same (which isn't a bad thing).  I thought there were a couple of new twists/beats/riffs mixed into the bag but all and all, it sounded much like their other songs.

Its alright, i respect the pedigree of the band, nufan, nirvana, the germs, and especially sunny day real estate were bands i enjoyed back in the day, and i personally feel that everlong is one of the greatest songs of all time, but i generally feel that dave grohl is a boring songwriter and most foo songs just have the same sound. As does this album. Give it up for recording in analog though!

Its not a bad album, I think I only skipped song 3, Dear Rosemary. I really liked Rope and Arlandria.
