Hello there, been a while since posting, but have been reading around randomly. . .
Anyways, the title here says a lot of my question. I have been sitting here at my friend's house, which has the HD600's and he and I have been comparing them and the DT990's (600 ohm). His and mine interpretations of each pair of headphones vary slightly, but overall are fairly similar. The highs of the DT990's can get a bit "sparkly" at times, while the same on the HD600's can seem slightly "veiled". The sound stage is larger on the DT990's (not an epic differential though), which I prefer compared to the HD600's. There are a few other differences, but those are the main points. So does there exist a headphone between these two in the same price range, which can be a happy medium/blend of the two?
