Broken Tf10

Hi guys, i recently owned a triplefi 10 and it was broken when i removed the cables. i removed it gently and this happend..

i just bought it this month and it has warranty but im from the philippines. shipping to US would cost a lot back and forth. do you think DIYers can fix these? or what? thankyou. im just 16 and i cannot afford large amount of money since this earphone is a gift from my parents :(

I don't know if there's a way to take it apart readily to resolder the connection. You could reshell it, but that's not cheap. If you can get it open without further damage it would be easy

wow how the heck did that happen. even if you could get them open, i don't know how easy it would be to fix that.

A similar thing happened to me with a pair of Super.Fi 5 Pros.

 

They'll repair it under warranty and there's a good chance that they'll cover some or all the shipping. Contact them to ask.

Ive contacted them and yea they will replace it but the problem is.. im from the philippines, they wouldnt shoulder the shipping expenses.
