I was wondering what the great Dr. Lirpa was up to after leaving Audio magazine a decade or so ago.  These look wonderful!

lol, when i first say the headline...i guess that sleek audio was charging about $3000 for it, just because they are one of the more expensive companies out there.  $8k, hahaha

^indeed it is and my money is fully on this being a joke for these reasons:

1. if you're going to introduce an iem with 20 drivers - which makes no sense from a technical a standpoint - that costs $8000 you'd be damn sure not do it april 1

2. jude claims to hear beyond 30kHz

3. the housing contains at best 10 drivers that appear to have been dumped in there along with a huge resistor and inductor without an concern for aesthetics or arrangement

4. do you realize how big 41mm is (americans i'm looking at you ;) )?!!

Think I'll get a 48 driver custom for 4kusd buying 4 of these (http://beatheadphone.taobao.com/?search=y&scid=242930951&scname=QmVhdCBhdWRpbyBUVC1Y&checkedRange=true&queryType=cat

and get it remoulded and put together by Unique melody :)

1) How comfy they will be  2) Will they be easy to drive  3) I don't know about some of You, but if I had that kind of moola I'''d rather get a pr. of the R10's, a sweet headphone amp, high quality interconnect's.  Well You get the picture, Oh and have some change left over for pizza and a beer!  For those of You who like and can buy them more power to You, let Us know what You think!  o2smile.gif

Nope, still not buying it.  There is no way.  Not happening.  N-o.
