For those looking at getting a digital signal out of their iDevice, Cambridge has come out with this Dock which can be used even with the iPAD!!!.

Excellent features like a balanced XLR out

AND it's not even expensive!!

 

I got one yesterday and set it up :

iD100>S/Pdif>Cambridge 840C as DAC>balanced>WA22>LCD-2(ALO cable Furtutech 1/4)

 

Rocking experience from my iPhone4
