Fiio E5 Fail

mmm...

 

Today, I went to go use my Fiio E5 that was attached to my iTouch, but sadly, no sound came out of it, but the light was on.

 

When I plugged my headphones directly into the iPod, it worked fine, but just didnt work w/ the amp.

 

Tried different cables (L3 LOD, 3.5mm to 3.5mm), charged it to full, spammed the volume + button, nothing.

 

Anyone else experience same thing before?

For the price let's be happy that the thing works for any period of time! Mine has a good amount of hours on it but I feel like it could go at any moment. The volume control barely works.

 

Hopefully you got your money's worth. Buy another? I know some guys actually roll opamps in these. Maybe search those threads and find out how to disassemble it and troubleshoot.
