New amp recommendations

I'm in the market for a new portable amp and would like recommendations from those with experience. I am using a 4g iPod touch with a Fiio L3 LOD, and UE 4 pro IEMs. I want a well made amp that sounds good and will last. While I do like the look and feel of many of the high priced ICs, cables, etc., I don't believe they provide any improvements over many of the cheaper cables, and I don't believe in things like cable burn in either (all snake oil in my opinion). I want to avoid amps marketed with this type of hype as well. I have a Fiio E7 that I am happy with but would like to try others just to see if there is a pronounced difference. Thanks in advance for any input!
