Need a ER4P to S Adaptor (75 Ohm). Any reason not to buy this one?

one from ebay. I don't know enough about any about resistors, etc. to make an informed choice.

After doing more reading, I begin to think that maybe this one can add stress to the amp. Any opinions? I'd like a cable but the Etymotic one is sooo expensive.

it should be fine, as fo,r will it add stress to your amp, yes it will.  it shouldnt harm the amp but you will likely have to turn up the volume  and the amp may not have the juice to do things justice.

 

still for the next to no money i think it can really do wonders with some IEM's
