That word being 'Audiophile'. Why? Because it conjures up far too much negativity from Average Joe tbh (so be it honestly, some of it is justified) and is often far too much linked to the shady snake oil aspect of it. And by the way, yes, with the same exact thing, we change our opinions based on the wording of such policies. Plenty of studies on it in say political policies and news reporting. What word from this hobby do you dislike?
I also dislike 'neutral' due to the blatant misuse and mislabelling of it e.g. the M50 and AKG K701 are both labelled as 'neutral' when they are anything but (M50 bass emphasised, K701 sub-bass light).
