Hey guys,
as I previously said, I have little experience with good headphones.
I just got my HD668b. I couldn't help myself but to just try them on at least once before I lay them off for the burn in.
This is one of the greatest things my ears have ever listened to. And I just plugged them in to my PC speakers cause I was too lazy to reach to my soundcard.
I guess you can tell I'm not an audiophile if this is enough to satisfy me. And I don't care, I'm happy with my purchase and I will recommend these headphones to whoever asks for a recommendation.

668B is a good headphone on its price range
I have a pair hd-651 (battleship grey :) ) and they are durable light weight and fairly comfortable once you stretch the head band/wire accordingly. Not the BEST sounding thing on earth but more than pleasantly surprising for the money (£8 on thomann) competent in bass and mid and treble.
slightly harsh if you were to sit indoors listening, but out in the city they have the bite to cut through all the noise. i combine them with my cheap fiio amp which warms them up some and dont worry about it if they get rained on or sat on or scratched. a bargain!
Hi, I need a pair of headphones for gaming, I'm among Samson SR850, 668B, Beyerdynamic DT 235, JVC HARX900 and sennheiser HD 419, which one is better?
I've only 60 bucks to expend and I can only buy on amazon, because I'm from Venezuela...
I play a bit of everything, but mostly shooters games...
I want to hear footsteps and know where gunshots are coming from.
I playing in surround sound, I have a Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer...
I plan use them for gaming only.
I'm no audiophile, I just want to a decent sound and above all comfortability, after all, they are my first entry level headphones...
Thanks in advance...
PS: Are these genuine Samson SR850?
I'm from Venezuela and I've never bought on ebay...

I'm sure those are genuine because i've NEVER heard of a faked Superlux/Samson and seller has good feedback.
For gaming, would definitely go with the SR850 for footsteps and such.
thank you so much, I found so weird the low price and the box is different from the amazon sellers.
Amazon box:
ebay box:
but I trust in your recommendation, I'm going for them...
I will buy these pads too, I hope so fit well:
Those pads won't fit. They are slightly smaller diameter then the SR850 and the mechanism for how the pads go on is different. I have tried to put my DT770 pads on my old Superlux HD681 (virtually identical to the SR850) and they do not fit.
AKG 240 velour pads will fit and they cost $30 USD. If you cant afford them then I would recommend either the Creative World of Warcraft Headset pleather for around $15 USD or AKG 240 pleather pads for I think $12 USD
Also the reason the boxes are different is that the one from ebay I believe is a slightly older version that has slightly different earpads and I think the coloring might be a little different.

Thanks for tell me about the pads, almost I bought them.
The Creative World of Warcraft Headset pads are sold out on amazon and there isn't on ebay, I'll keep looking for a cheap model that fit...
Here I found one, but I prefer velour...
And this one, but neither is velour: www.amazon.com/Genuine-Replacement-Cushions-SENNHEISER-headphones/dp/B000KPPYHE/ref=sr_1_58?ie=UTF8&qid=1359316796&sr=8-58&keywords=sennheiser+replacement+earpads
$30 pad on a superlux is a little too much at least for me..raise the stock pad with some foam then wrap it with socks..cheap and not too bad
Agree, I refuse to pay $30 for a ear pads, if a can't find some cheap ear pads, I'll make one myself...

The difference is that 668B has 56 ohm of impedance vs 32 ohm of Samson/superlux 681, the head band, and detachable cable...
661=32$
668B=47$
SR850=53$
